PURPOSE AND SCOPE

The success of the Gold County Sheriff's Office depends upon maintaining public confidence and trust. This policy establishes the department's commitment to accountability and ethical conduct.


POLICY

All Deputies are responsible for maintaining the integrity of the department and complying with all applicable laws, policies, and ethical standards.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Deputies shall:


  • Act honestly and truthfully.
  • Report misconduct when observed.
  • Cooperate with authorized investigations.
  • Maintain public confidence through professional conduct.

ACCOUNTABILITY

No Deputy shall be exempt from review or investigation due to rank, assignment, or position within the department. All personnel shall be held accountable for their actions and conduct.
